Patient Safety & Privacy

Patient safety is and has always been one of the basic tenets of medical practice. At Mount Nittany Surgical Center, our physicians and healthcare professionals partner with you to keep you safe and provide the highest quality care. As part of that commitment, we have implemented a Patient Safety Plan to ensure the health and safety of our patients.

The plan is guided by a dedicated Patient Safety Officer and Patient Safety Committee that pro-actively examine, monitor and implement all safety measures used by the Surgical Center. You can review a copy of the Patient Safety Plan by request from the Surgical Center receptionist.
